Generation Next builds future professionals through mentorship, networking, career exploration, and skill development. You’ll join a community of like-minded students interested in building their futures now.
Twice a month for Fall and Spring semesters, you’ll explore your possibilities and build skills at interactive workshops, site visits to local companies, or professional mixers on and off campus.

Who is eligible?
- Undergraduate students at the University of Utah
- All majors are encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in professional development
- Preference given to STEM majors and First-Generation students
Students accepted to the GenNext program are expected to be active members of their cohort and to present at all monthly workshops, mixers, and business tours. Participants will receive the full schedule of events for the year. Program runs September 2025-April 2026.
