The University of Utah community has a unique and exclusive opportunity to hear from two inspiring keynote speakers as part the Career & Professional Development Center’s Career Fest: Franchesca Ramsey and Angelica Ross. These keynote-speaking events are open to students, alumni, faculty, staff, partner employers, and community members.
Franchesca Ramsey is an actor, writer, sought-after public speaker, and creator/star of the award-winning web series MTV Decoded. In her keynote, Franchesca will be addressing the topic “Exploring passion and purpose while remaining true to social justice and social action.”
Angelica Ross is a TransTech Founder & CEO, actress, advocate, and leading figure of success and strength in the movement for Transgender and racial equality. In her keynote, Angelica will be addressing the topic “Remaining resilient, exploring your passion and leveraging networks and/or people.”
The U of U community is invited to stream the live keynote events from home on YouTube or from the Union Ballroom with others. Those interested in attending can fill out the Zoom registration form for Franchesca Ramsey’s keynote here and Angelica Ross’s keynote here. Registrants will receive a live stream link within 24 hours (excluding weekends) after registering.
A VIP Student Post-Keynote Conversation will follow each Keynote event. The VIP conversations are only open to current University of Utah students, and are limited to 50 students per session. Students can fill out this form to be considered for selection. The VIP conversations will offer students the chance for a more in depth conversation with each keynote in a more intimate virtual environment.
