“I have no idea what I’m doing for my career.” Believe it or not, this is a phrase you should be saying regularly on your career journey. If you’re feeling like the path to figuring out what you want to do with your life is rocky, you’re not doing something wrong; you’re actually doing everything right!
Often, we don’t realize that the ups and downs of our college experience – the mistakes, the pivots, the moments of success, and the times of uncertainty – all make up our unique career journey. No one ever truly “arrives” at a career destination, rather your career is a lifelong process with pit stops along the way.
The Peaks & Valleys blog is a place for you to take the pressure off of doing your career “perfectly” because there is no perfect way to do a career. We’ll share weekly, relevant tips on how to navigate the ups and downs – and everything in between. Content will be written by members of our staff, students, and employers.
