Nantes, France & Utah: University Partners

Expand your world by connecting with our newest overseas partner

Nantes University students will be welcomed for a western US experience in Salt Lake City. The red rocks of Utah's summer offer a vibrant outdoor experience, while the cutting-edge classrooms and internship opportunities will connect visiting students to our strong entrepreneurial culture.

University of Utah students will be introduced to the delights of a midsize city on the banks of the Loire, rich with history and culture, with a sizeable student population waiting to befriend, only a short 45-minute train to beaches on the Atlantic. The two campuses of the Nantes University offer immersive French language programs to ensure you bring home more than souvenirs.

“The Power You Gain, and Offer, through Diversity”

Pleasure, creativity, and fairness, not to mention downright joy, are some of the empowering effects of embracing our differences from each other.  But what goes into the thing called “diversity”?  How does it end up tying kindness to structural change, especially in places such as universities?  Using memoir, humor, and examples sure to get you thinking—from the pants we wear to a new kind of college for transformative thought—Dr. Stockton shares striking ways we can connect, at our most personal and institutional levels.
