Internship Details

When: Summer 2026
Duration: 10 weeks
Hours: 15 to 19 hours per week
Pay: $13 per hour
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah and nearby areas

Who Can Apply?

First- and second-year students
Any major
Minimum GPA: 2.5

Note: Applicants who have already participated in the Community Champions program are not eligible to apply for a second internship through this program.

Eligibility Requirements

Enrollment Status: Applicants must be enrolled as first- or second-year students at the University of Utah. 

Academic Standing: Applicants should maintain a satisfactory academic standing with a 2.5 or higher GPA. 

Availability: Applicants must be available to commit to the duration of the internship (10 weeks). Applicants must be able to complete the internship in person and manage their transportation.

Work Authorization: Applicants must hold legal authorization to work off-campus in order to be eligible for this internship opportunity. We cannot accept applications for international students for this program.
