Once You Are Registered...
Create a Schedule
Note: Only the Schedule Owner will be able to set the schedule for your company. If this should be someone else, check out this process to get a new Schedule Owner designated.
Check out Handshake's video on how to set your schedule!
Once your fair registration has been approved, you’ll receive a notification of approval with a link to set your schedule. Click here for further instruction. Students won’t know that you’re attending the Fair until you’ve set your schedule!
Have your team “Claim” their sessions
If representatives other than yourself will be attending the virtual fair, they will need to “Claim” the 1:1 and/or Group sessions they've been assigned to. Handshake will automatically send them an email prompting them to do this, but that email can be easily overlooked, so please reach out to them directly about claiming their sessions.
Manage Your Schedule
Once your schedule has been created/claimed, you’ll be able to manage your Group and 1:1 Sessions as needed.
Build Student Interest
Take additional steps to build student interest in your company and opportunities. Such as:
- Post your current internship and employment opportunities in Handshake
- Schedule a virtual info session or event in Handshake
- Have U alumni who work at your org contact their college/professors to get the word out
- Contact the Career & Professional Development Center for support and collaboration
Send Students Messages
You can message students directly about attending your Group or 1:1 Sessions at the Fair. Click the button below to learn how!
